Thingsly was a full-featured content curation platform designed to allow people to create communities of “collectors” – people who shared similar tastes. Unlike competitor Pinterest, Thingsly focused on this idea of “collecting together” and was developing an underlying platform for determining cultural distances based on “things”. Heady yes. The VC community thought so too.
