IHG Franchisee Pricing Tools

 
InterContinental Hotels Group is the parent franchise-provider of famous hotel brands Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Indigo, InterContinental, Staybridge Suites, and others. As a service to their franchisees, IHG offers pre-negotiated rates with vendors for a number of items like internet bandwidth, wifi hardware, and credit-card transaction services.

In October, 2014 they engaged with DB3 Innovation to develop online pricing tools to be used during their annual trade-show and inside of IHG’s procurement website. DB3 delivered the first prototype within 2 weeks, and through weekly sprints that included complex data loading, delivered he application on-time and on-budget. The program was so successful, they engaged DB3 for an expanded version the following year.

• Upload and ingestion of Excel-based pricing files
• Contact capture workflow with automatic email confirmations
• Generation of PDF “Letter of Intent”
